Room to Play
There are no legal dog runs in Sunset Park, nor is there
an off leash privilege between certain hours of the day. Please
be respectful to your neighbors and other park users by keeping
your dog on leash at all times. We understand this is a problem
for dogs and their owners, and are working hard to change
this.
No One Likes Stepping in Dog Poo…
…even dog owners don’t like it. So please clean
up after your dog. There has been a rumor of $1000 tickets
being issued to those who don’t scoop the poop. While
we can’t confirm the rumor, we have noticed that the
old “Clean Up After Your Dog, Max Fine $100” signs
have been taken down, and only the new ones bearing the new
maximum fine of $1000 remain.
